power rangers in space

I'm not sure I should even be admitting this, but I loved Power Rangers in Space. I apparently am a sucker for melodrama and for once I actually liked the whole cast and Andros taking the leader mantle from TJ made sense - he was the most experienced and it was his ship. (Unlike the whole White Ranger arc -- Tommy gets a new color so he automatically becomes the new leader? What?)

A Fitting Relationship
G | Tommy, Cassie
Summary: Every time a new Ranger is in need of threads, 'Technicolor Tommy' gets a call.
A hilarious take on just what Tommy did with his outfits once he chaged Ranger colors.

All The Wrong Places
PG-13 | Andros/Ashley
Summary: One last chance at love leads Andros across a country and across a Galaxy.
A rather fun AU-ish adventure that you could see Andros taking. Also, I love that when we do catch up to Ashley she's not a damsel in distress.

Drunk Horses
G | Andros, Zhane, Other Canon Characters | Crossovers with Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Lightspeed Rescue
Summary: none given
Hilarious crossover in which Andros and Zhane lead a non-ultimate Rangers team. Just beware of the blinding color choices for the page.

Have You Ever?
G | Carlos, Ashley
Summary: none given
I watched maybe a whole 15 minutes of Turbo and got the impression the couple for the series was suppose to be Carlos/Ashley, but that was never addressed when they went in Space. This is a rather angsty look from Carlos that fills in that gap and shows how one relationship ended before it even began.

In The Wake
G | Alpha 5, Andros
Summary: Alpha was created to serve Zordon. And now that Zordon is gone...
Alpha 5 and Andros have a conversation post-CtD. It reads like a missing scene and one that I would loved to have seen on TV.

Missing Person
PG | Andros, Team
Summary: Even after all of these years, Andros is still trying to come to grips with Karone.
A great and spot on mix of angst and hope. Set early in the series.

Mother
PG-13 | Andros, OC, Team
Summary: The earth Rangers are kidnapped in a horrifying way, while Andros ends up making two very unusual friends.
This is a fantastic Andros-centric story that borrows from Aliens and features an OC (sort of). The OC part alone should have me running in the opposite direction, but instead of a Mary Sue, we (and Andros) get a character who we actually care for. It's a great little adventure that captures Andros at his best.

Scenes From a Mauling
PG-13 | Zhane, Team, Psycho Rangers
Summary: The Psychos are on the rampage, and one by one they take the Rangers down. At this rate, will anybody be left alive to stop them?
A great Zhane-centric action fic that also has a lovely dose of Zhane/Ashley friendship. My only quibble with this fic is one line at the end that always makes me cringe, but it's probably just me.

The Tamlyn Switch
PG-13 | Carlos, Team
Summary: A series of 'accidents' lead the Rangers to believe a killer is on board. Could it be the refugee-princess everyone thought was dead?
I'm not a big Carlos fan, but if he had more episodes that played like this, instead of ones with Sylvie, I'd probably like him more.
